The cranes they produce lift 'the weight of the world' in 53 countries

A crane manufacturing company in Konya exports its cranes, which have lifting capacities ranging from 500 kilograms to 300 tons, to 42 countries, primarily the United States.

Operating in the Büsan Private Organized Industrial Zone in the central Karatay district, Sekizli Crane (Sekizli Vinç) manufactures various types of hoisting machinery and cranes. The company employs 200 workers across four factories with a total closed area of 10,000 square meters.

Ruhi Yazar, the Export Manager of Sekizli Crane, stated that the company, which began its operations in the sector in 1987, produces various types of hoisting machinery and cranes with capacities ranging from 500 kilograms to 300 tons.

Emphasizing that they continue to lead the sector by developing day by day, Yazar mentioned that besides electric crane production, they also manufacture truck-mounted knuckle boom hydraulic cranes.

"We rank in the top three in Turkey's crane sector"

Pointing out that they manufacture gantry lifting equipment, overhead cranes (indoor cranes), and other crane types across their four factories, Yazar shared the following:

"Currently, we export to 42 countries. We have intensive trade with 15 of them. We sell cranes to the Middle East, Gulf countries, North and South African countries, as well as the United States. We have no limitations in the market. Any company with a load over 500 kilograms needs a crane. Our gantry cranes with a 300-ton lifting capacity are used in ports. The cranes used in the Istanbul metro are also of our manufacture. We rank in the top three in the crane sector in Turkey. We also rank first in terms of production capacity. We produce 50 crane trolleys per week. We hold the highest capacity in this field in Turkey."

Stating that they export 30 percent of their production, Yazar said, "We are a Konya-based company. We also provide assembly services. We employ 200 workers in our company. We are happy to contribute to the national economy through both our exports and our active presence in the domestic market."
